FIRST!.... anyone else already have all five Spawn 150 covers in their grubby paws??

Bettin' that they didnt order me a copy of the 5th
cover when I ordered my set.
Was going to wait till friday afternoon to run over there.
Now I'll be running over there tommorow.

I can see where this one has caught a lot by surprise. Not having it listed for order and added in did mess up the place I normally go to.

I was lucky to get the last but one full set and the last extra sketch cover.

The guy running the place said it hit him hard, especially those that he had to put the box orders in with all the hold orders.

He only had 4 5-sets for others to buy

Think I stopped getting Spawn around #120 or so......but I do want to pick up (just) one copy of #150~

& if I do, you know I'll end up having to get the ones I didn't get.............

I am still going through reading from the 60s to 141.

picked it up at 141 and have been reading through current.

Actually, this fifth cover REALLY hurt the retailers for another reason. Let's say they ordered 40 sets. that would have been 160 comics. But now it's NOT forty sets, it's only thirty-two sets. Eight of their customers will get NONE of the comics! 20% of the store's regulars are going to be disappointed, and may go elsewhere.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">A lot of comic buyers aren't going to be interested in buying a full set though. Most comic shops order more than enough comics to cover those who request them, which should leave enough of some of the covers for others to buy.

My comic shop here is so small and only open for 3 hours a day....4-7pm. By the time I get off work drive a half hour home check the dogs and then another half hour there it's 5 pm then as my luck usually holds out either the moron didn't order them or he's closed. Sometimes I hate living in a small town.

my comic shop ordered tons of them. plenty of sets to go around, i never have to order anything in advance because theres always plenty of everything.

Well I did luck out.
The lady at the comic shop did pull
one of the 5th cover for me.
Not only that but the 5 comics cost me less then
20 bucks.
The 30% discount for pulled comics sure came in handy this time.
